In 2008, in our very first A Course in Miracles class, we began our journey by asking ourselves what was our intention for being part of this work. I remember telling my beloved friend Grace (who I had just met at that point) that what I really wanted more than anything was heaven on earth. And even though I had no idea what that meant or what it would end up looking like, it was absolutely my soul’s truth. Grace and I still meet weekly for A Course in Miracles and I am still working on my heaven on earth… You see in the beginning it was all about what I wanted to create, and I created it. Then it was about who I wanted to be, and I became it. Next was about what I wanted to do, and I did it. And then about what I wanted to have, and I have it. Nowadays it is about what I want to experience, and I am happy to say that most days I experience it. This process has taken me years of dedication. But it is because of all that time and all that work that I was able to figure out how to help you more efficiently so that you don’t have to spend tens of thousands of dollars and decades of your life trying to figure out how to live a life of sustained peace, love, joy, and enlightenment. Actually, that has become my heaven on earth...teaching others to create their heaven on earth and then teaching those who want to coach others in creating their heaven on earth. This consciousness is expanding and I am most grateful to be part of it. When I started out in the field of metaphysics in the late 1980s I would attend classes once a week with incredibly inspirational teachers and mentors. I would leave the classes feeling amazing but by the time class rolled around the following week, I felt like I really “needed” it because I was depleted, exhausted, and miserable once again. But after class, I was inspired and encouraged all over again! I stayed on this rollercoaster for many years even though I had a strong spiritual practice each day. The problem wasn’t in reaching the higher states of consciousness, it was in sustaining them! But then during the dark days of quarantine during Covid-19, I sat down and channeled this beautiful program called Inward Bound. The beauty of the program is that instead of people meeting up once a week they were being immersed in the work for an eight-week period with miraculous results. I was watching shy insecure women become powerful leaders, seeing women who had no idea what they wanted to do with their lives find their passion and move forward towards their dreams, and watching all of my clients become healthier and more vibrantly energetic every day. The funny thing is that my clients used to pay me $95 per hour weekly over years of working together to get the same results my clients are now getting in eight short weeks for a fraction of the cost. And it’s because I am guiding them through a structured program that builds upon itself each week. They are working through the online course materials, attending weekly group sessions, having individual coaching sessions every week, and connecting with their team daily. Everything works together synergistically to support you in moving forward into your happily ever after at lightning speed...if you do the work. I’m not your fairy godmother and I don’t have a magic wand so I can’t do your work for you. But I can help you enjoy the process and feel loved and supported along the way. My question to you is...are you going to wait until you die to experience your heaven, or are you ready to do that right here and now? The choice is yours… If you think you are ready…sign up now for the Inward Bound Program. There are a couple of different payment options so you can select the one that works best for you. And if you’d like to talk with me first before making your decision, schedule a Discovery Call. It’s an hour-long session to help you discover what your heaven looks like, a plan to help you create it, and an opportunity for you to experience what it’s like to work with me. You really do deserve to be enjoying your heaven on earth. Right here. Right now. With love & light, Keli PS- Please leave a comment below with the one area of your life that could most use a heavenly makeover... I found out this morning that one of my favorite neighbors has died from Covid. He was a teacher to elementary school kids, had a little dog named Tobie, and was always quick to smile and wave hello when we saw each other when out walking our dogs or grocery shopping in Publix. To be honest I feel happy for him because he gets to be in heaven. I look forward to the day when I too will be complete here and ready to go on to my what’s next. Who I really feel sorry for and worry about is Tobie. He’s an older dog who is kind of bossy and gruff but I’m sure he must be broken-hearted and confused at the loss of his beloved human. And I worry about myself because this has really got me thinking about what if it had been me? Could I have left feeling complete? Knowing that I had said everything I needed to say? Not today my friend, not today! What about you? Have you spoken your authentic truth to those around you that you love and care for? What about to those around you who keep making the same mistake over and over again? Have you ever taken the time to share a new perspective or point of view that might actually help them? Or do you just walk away shaking your head about the stupid choices they are making? I know for myself it is a combination platter. Some days I choose from column A and share my love and light while other days I choose from column B and sit in silence. Let me tell you...I always feel better on days I choose from column A! So today I want to share a little of my own love and light with you by reminding you that you do make a difference! Your viewpoint is needed by others...even if they laugh and say that it isn’t true. It may be the very thing that they needed to hear and it will be the catalyst for great learning and change in their lives. Here’s an example: For the past 7 days I have been experiencing laryngitis. One of my girlfriends asked me if I thought my throat chakra could be closed and I laughed and said no, if anything mine is wide open and is in the process of rebalancing. I could feel that my response hurt her feelings which I never meant to do. I just thought it was an odd suggestion since I spend my life listening to spirit and transcribing what I hear. But the truth is that I don’t spend a whole lot of time speaking my “own truth” because honestly, I don’t see the value when I have so much loftier wisdom to share. BUT maybe this was God’s way of telling me that my voice does matter...through the words of my friend Schelle. And I am here to tell you that your voice matters too! So let’s get out into the world this week and say all the things we want people to know. Let’s share our love and light in our own unique and beautiful ways. Tell the people you love all the things you love about them. Tell the people you don’t like all the things you have learned from them and why you are grateful to have them in your life. And most importantly, don’t forget yourself...tell yourself (in writing on paper) all the things you love about the wonderful and amazing being that you are! So where will you begin? Please share below and tag those you love and want to remind to use their magnificent voices. Looking forward to your responses... With love & light, Keli Recently one of my dear friends was in a horrible car accident that caused a spinal cord injury at C-4. The doctors told her that she was going to be a quadriplegic. At that moment she had a decision to make...was she going to trust the information that was outside of her (the doctor's opinion) or the information that was coming from within (her higher guidance)? Because her spirit was telling her that this was her next opportunity on her spiritual path that was going to allow her to become who she came here to be...a healer. Luckily, she chose to listen to the voice within and she has spent the past few months inspiring all of us who know her with her strength and resilience. Last week when we spoke she joyfully shared that her new favorite thing in physical therapy is practicing standing! Yes, that from a woman who was diagnosed with quadriplegia. Impressive, right? It just goes to show you how amazing the mind really is. It has the ability to create whatever it is we are focused on. But that can be a two-edged sword because it makes it very clear that everything we have and are experiencing in our life, we thought into creation. Even the not-so-great stuff! And then when we're experiencing the not-so-great stuff what happens...? All of these unhealthy emotions come up and get wrapped around the situation and we end up feeling completely stressed and overwhelmed. That's why this week I wanted to talk to you a little bit about the 3 simple steps to go from overwhelmed to empowered... So, I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below with any thoughts or comments and let's start a discussion on ways to keep ourselves empowered emotionally. I look forward to connecting with you...
With love and light, Keli PS- I encourage you to check out the free Emotional Empowerment Webinar that I mentioned in the video. I have gotten some really great feedback on how helpful it is. When I was about 3 years old my mom took me to have my picture taken. I had on my favorite dress, she had curled my long blonde hair using her curlers, I was wearing my perfectly shiny patten leather shoes, and I was carrying my prized possession...my beloved stuffed dog. That dog had been there with me throughout all of my life's journey thus far, so of course, he would be joining me for this monumental day. We arrived at the "photographer's studio" which as I recall was at the back of the Big N Store, next to the toy department. I was ready and excited for my big moment. The photographer commented about how pretty I looked. I was ready for my close-up! But then, it happened... He took away my beloved stuffed dog and handed me a brand new stuffed animal. What was he thinking? I don't know this toy...it isn't mine! I don't love it and share precious memories with it. Take it away! AND BRING ME BACK MY DOG!!! I screamed, I cried, I asked for what I wanted, I had a full-on tantrum. Nothing worked. No matter how nice the idiot photographer tried to be, he was not getting a smile out of me. He had become the enemy. And he was not going to win this battle. My mom even took me for a little walk around the toy department to explain that they just thought the new stuffed toy would look nicer in the picture. I did not care. In the least. I. Just. Wanted. My. Dog. Back. And I got it! When we returned to the studio I was reunited with my precious doggie, and the photographer was ready to get a bright, smiley picture of me. But you know what, I wasn't feeling very smiley... When I look at that picture which I love so very much it reminds me of three amazing lessons from my childhood:
1. I have always held a clear vision for what I wanted to create and experience in my life. 2. I did not give up my beliefs or cave to the will of others. 3. I am not someone who is easily controlled and manipulated, and do not like being disrespected...at all. Another thing I adore about this picture is that it is a completely honest and true reflection of how I was feeling in that moment. It may not be as cute as a bright, smiling face with a brand new stuffed animal, but that wouldn't have been a true reflection of my true self in that moment. And so I ask you, when you look back at pictures from your childhood do you see the "real you" or do you see some other version of yourself that you don't really recognize? The reason I ask is because I think it is important to understand that from a very early age we were taught to put on masks and act the way that others thought it was appropriate for us to act. We were taught to act in ways others wanted us to behave, and many times if we didn't, there were consequences to pay. And so we began to give up little pieces of who we were born to be, and started to adopt this other "acceptable" version of ourselves. The problem is that one day you wake up and realize that you don't even like this person you have become, and you are EXHAUSTED from having to be who other people think you should be all the time. Sound familiar? You are not alone. This is a story I hear over and over again from my clients. But how do you find your way back to your true self? The easy way (in my humble opinion) is by investing 8 weeks into your journey within through the Inward Bound Program. You will be given the tools, support, safe space, and guidance you need to find your way back to the Self you love and accept unconditionally. It is time for you to reconnect to your true vision of what you want to experience, to believe in yourself, and to create a life for yourself that is a beautiful expression of who you really are. You are the only You that will ever be...and there is a sweet magnificence to that. It's time for you to shine your light in your own unique and beautiful way. Even if that means holding on to a stinky old dog with your grumpy face on! This has been a fun week of exploring our mental health, emotional health, and physical health. Quite a few wonderful questions were posed to me throughout the week:
So I decided to answer these questions in a Facebook Live. You will find the recorded version below... If you should have any questions or comments, please leave them below...thanks.
There is this very strange and scary belief that things just happen to your body and there really is nothing you can do about it. It leaves people with a sense of being completely out of control about what happens to them. But the question is...is that true? As a Naturopathic Doctor, I say absolutely not. As a matter of fact, I was taught that we create the wellness we are experiencing in our body by the way we eat, drink, think, and live. And as a perfectly healthy, non-prescription-taking woman I can attest to the truth in that statement. So let's break it down... I am not about to tell you what you should or should not be eating. What I will say is if nature made it, eat it, and if man made it, avoid it. And if you are interested in adding more healthy foods into your diet may I suggest the book Eat to Beat Disease by Dr. William Li. As far as what you should drink...water! Your body requires 1/2 of your weight in ounces of water daily to perform optimally. So if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water daily. But let's get to the interesting part...what you think and how you live have as much to do with your health and well-being as what you eat and drink! What?!? Oh yes my friend, it is true! All of those negative thoughts that we focus on and all of the emotions that come up in reaction to those negative thoughts are as damaging to you as an unhealthy diet. Perhaps even more so. Why? Because emotions each have a vibratory pattern, as do your organs. Those vibratory patterns can interfere with the frequency of healthy tissues causing dis-ease. Here's are some examples; anger can affect the liver, resentments affect the gallbladder, grief affects the lungs, an unwillingness to let go affects the colon, fear affects the kidneys, bitterness affects the heart, and the list goes on. So learning how to focus the mind on our vision of the life we want to create is the first step in changing what we are experiencing physically. I have had clients heal themselves of all kinds of "unhealable" issues...from herpes to pancreatic cancer. And each of them started with a clear vision of what their life was going to look like once they were completely healed. Their certainty in the body's ability to heal itself was key. Not to mention brilliant. After all the body was designed to be a vehicle for your spirit to experience the human condition for as long as it is wanted and needed. The body is designed to be a self-healing machine, and as long as it is given what it needs to heal itself (nutritious food, clean water, peaceful thoughts, and joyful experiences) it will last for as long as you desire. We have covered a lot of information this week about mental, emotional, and physical health and well-being and I'm sure you may have some questions. I am going to be hosting an Office Hour Q&A Session tomorrow at 4pm eastern time on Facebook. If you are not going to be available at that time, please leave your questions in the comments and I will answer them tomorrow Live. I will tag you with the replay so you can listen when you are available. Looking forward to seeing you soon... So what is emotional health? The ability to recognize, release, and redirect ourselves emotionally. As long as we are in human form we have a full array of emotions available to us as tools for expressing ourselves to others. The problem is society has deemed some emotions as good and others as bad creating a ton of judgment around how people go about expressing themselves...and so bit by bit and little by little we begin the attempt to hide away pieces of ourselves that we think others may judge. But why is it that the emotions can feel so out of control sometimes...? I know it may sound strange but some people are unaware of what emotions are present for them in the moment which is why being able to recognize them is our first step. The ability to step into observer mode and notice what is present without any attachment whatsoever is incredibly powerful.
And an interesting side note for my empath's: recognizing the emotions that are present becomes a twofold process. What is present? Is it mine? The next step is being able to release those emotions...all of them. The goal is to be able to sustain a place of peaceful contentment where we can simply accept what is present in the moment with detached compassion. Being able to observe emotions passing through like clouds in the sky or leaves on a stream helps us to be able to release the emotions with grace and ease. And the final step is in redirecting ourselves back to our peaceful center. It is important for us to remember that whenever we clear something we must then set the intention for what we want, like a farmer who clears the field and then plants the seeds for what he intends to grow. Envisioning your heaven on earth and the highest and grandest version of your Self will draw your attention back to what you are here to create and experience. Tomorrow we will explore our physical health and well-being... This week we are going to focus on our Mental, Emotional, and Physical Health... The mind is a receiver. A GPS system of sorts letting you know who you are, where you are, what you are experiencing, and what opportunities lie in front of you. The emotions are signposts along the way, letting you know what path you are on. And the body is simply the vessel with which you can express who you believe your Self to be out into the world. So what is mental health? Having the ability to keep the mind focused on your next best steps and receiving your higher guidance with grace and ease. Why do we have such difficulty in focusing the mind and receiving higher guidance? Because we have all suffered childhood traumas...we have bitten of the fruit from the tree of good and evil, plummeting ourselves into the duality of beliefs, good/bad, right/wrong. How does that happen? When we were small children something happened. Then we made up that we are alone and unloved. The feeling that attached was fear. And all we ever really want is to be loved and protected.> The something that happens could be anything. Being left alone in our crib to cry. Being yelled at by someone who is angry. The something isn't really important...what is important is what we made up about ourselves because of it. And that is how the second channel comes to be in our mind. First all we hear is the Voice for God. But the moment we choose to make fear real we begin to hear a second voice that brings that fear to life for us. Call it the ego, Lucifer, lower consciousness, or whatever you like, it doesn't change the fact that it has been activated and is there spouting out nonsense for your listening pleasure. Some people listen to it non-stop and spend their life wrapped around the axel of fear, unable to move forward towards their heart's desires. Trapped by their own stinking thinking. For some the fear takes such a deep hold and has activated emotion so deep that the frequency of fear begins to change the vibrational frequency of the brain causing problems with neuroplasticity and neurotransmitters, creating the symptoms of some mental illnesses. And some of these fears come in with people from past life memories. They are not born damaged, they are born remembering the fears and traumas from past lives and they need help releasing them and setting themselves free. So mental health is really about getting clear about what you choose to listen to. You can choose to listen to your Spirit, the Voice for God, or you can choose to listen to the ego, the voice of fear. The choice is Yours. Remember...the one thing we brought into this life with us is the freedom to choose. I like to call it the "Free Will Clause". Free Will is your birthright. If you do not consciously choose which channel you are going to listen to then chances are that you are spending a LOT of time listening to the voice of fear. It's telling you things like you're not good enough, that you are broken, unworthy, unlovable, and if people really knew you they would hate you. It says all kinds of mean, horrible things to you. But the really crazy part is...you listen to it! I mean think about it logically, if someone showed up at your door and said all of those horrible things, you would slam the door in their face. Right?!? So why then do you listen to the crap your ego is throwing at you? I'll tell you why...because you didn't know you had a choice to turn it off! Well, you do! Not only do you have a choice but you have a duty to yourself to exert that choice. Your mental health depends on it. So how does one go about shutting down the voice of the ego? Well, that's a bit of a trick question because you created it, and since you created it you believe that it is real, a part of yourself. And your belief that it is real and true is keeping you tethered to it. So the first step is to recognize that you have other options. What channel would you rather be listening to...? Your Higher Self, God, Holy Spirit, Your Guardian Angel, Your Spirit Guides, a loved one in heaven? You get to pick. And once you pick, you get to give yourself the gift of experiencing what is possible to you by listening to this new channel through meditation. I invite you to join our community and use the short or long version (depending on how much time you have) of the Centering in Love & Light Meditation to enjoy this new experience. And tomorrow we will explore our emotional health. You have probably heard me say many times that we are not human beings, but spiritual beings having a human experience. And in this experience we have three tools with which to express our spiritual nature- the body, emotions, and mind. But here in the human experience we have what I like to call the "Free Will Clause" which means that we get to decide everything which we experience. I know that is a really tough one for some people to wrap their heads around, but that doesn't make it any less true. So basically what it boils down to is that you get to choose, either consciously or unconsciously, your experience of your body, emotions, and mind. There is a duality to our human experience. You may see it as good/bad, right/wrong, male/female, light/darkness...you get the idea. For our purposes today we will be looking at the dual nature of our body, emotions, and mind from the viewpoint of positive/negative. How do we experience the body negatively? Stress, tension, pain, illness, disease. But interestingly enough, these symptoms are not actual physical issues...they are unexpressed emotions whose lower vibratory patterns are disrupting the healthy frequencies of the tissues, organs, and cells. How do we experience the emotions negatively? Simply put, by judging them. In our society we have a tendency to judge some emotions as being good (peace, love, joy, enlightenment, oneness) and others as being bad (stress, fear, anger, confusion, hatred) and we do our best to avoid the bad ones. Avoiding our feelings is what leads to addictions, breakdowns in relationships, and isolation and loneliness. But interestingly enough, these symptoms are not actually emotional issues...they are caused by our mind and its focus. How do we experience the mind negatively? By not consciously choosing what we are going to focus upon. Remember earlier when I mentioned the "Free Will Clause"? Well, that totally comes into play here. You see, there are two distinct channels you can tune in and listen to in the mind. One that your personality made-the ego, and One that God made-your Holy Spirit. When we are not conscious, chances are we are listening to the ego and experiencing fears, doubts, and limiting beliefs as the thoughts that are at the forefront of our consciousness. But interestingly enough, these symptoms are not actual mental issues...they are caused by a disconnect from Spirit. So we have come full circle. You are a SPIRITUAL BEING. I am certain you have had experiences of that truth if only for a fleeting moment, so you know it is true. The problem is that when we are out in the world running around doing the "human thing", we typically forget that our being is spiritual by nature. And the Spiritual Realm is Oneness, enlightenment, love, peace, and joy...there is no duality or opposites. It just is. The secret to using the body, emotions, and mind positively is to first connect to Spirit. How can we experience the mind positively? Meditation and visualization are the two tools that will have the greatest impact. Meditation allows you to master how to focus your mind and visualization allows you to consciously choose what it is your mind will focus your mind upon. Imagine having a clear vision of what you want to be experiencing as your heaven on earth and being able to hear Holy Spirit's guidance for your next best steps in creating it. That is what is possible for your mind. How can we experience the emotions positively? By acknowledging and releasing what is present. Taking an inventory of what you are feeling and releasing them physically through journaling or speaking is incredibly helpful. You know when you are complete because you will feel a deep contentment. Imagine feeling peacefully content and accepting of what is in each moment. That is what is possible for you emotionally. How can we experience the body positively? By honoring and nurturing it...giving it what it needs to heal itself. The body needs vital nutrients (food), water, fresh air, sleep, sunlight, and exercise in order to stay in peak operating condition. The body was designed to heal itself and to serve your soul for as long as you choose to use it. Imaging waking each morning with vibrant energy and well-being. That is what is possible for you physically. The choice is yours... You can choose to experience your body, emotions, and mind either positively or negatively. It's a simple matter of deciding what you want. And if you should decide that you are tired of suffering and you would like a trusted guide to support and nurture you on your path to reclaiming your Spiritual power, remember I am here for you.
