I found out this morning that one of my favorite neighbors has died from Covid. He was a teacher to elementary school kids, had a little dog named Tobie, and was always quick to smile and wave hello when we saw each other when out walking our dogs or grocery shopping in Publix. To be honest I feel happy for him because he gets to be in heaven. I look forward to the day when I too will be complete here and ready to go on to my what’s next. Who I really feel sorry for and worry about is Tobie. He’s an older dog who is kind of bossy and gruff but I’m sure he must be broken-hearted and confused at the loss of his beloved human. And I worry about myself because this has really got me thinking about what if it had been me? Could I have left feeling complete? Knowing that I had said everything I needed to say? Not today my friend, not today! What about you? Have you spoken your authentic truth to those around you that you love and care for? What about to those around you who keep making the same mistake over and over again? Have you ever taken the time to share a new perspective or point of view that might actually help them? Or do you just walk away shaking your head about the stupid choices they are making? I know for myself it is a combination platter. Some days I choose from column A and share my love and light while other days I choose from column B and sit in silence. Let me tell you...I always feel better on days I choose from column A! So today I want to share a little of my own love and light with you by reminding you that you do make a difference! Your viewpoint is needed by others...even if they laugh and say that it isn’t true. It may be the very thing that they needed to hear and it will be the catalyst for great learning and change in their lives. Here’s an example: For the past 7 days I have been experiencing laryngitis. One of my girlfriends asked me if I thought my throat chakra could be closed and I laughed and said no, if anything mine is wide open and is in the process of rebalancing. I could feel that my response hurt her feelings which I never meant to do. I just thought it was an odd suggestion since I spend my life listening to spirit and transcribing what I hear. But the truth is that I don’t spend a whole lot of time speaking my “own truth” because honestly, I don’t see the value when I have so much loftier wisdom to share. BUT maybe this was God’s way of telling me that my voice does matter...through the words of my friend Schelle. And I am here to tell you that your voice matters too! So let’s get out into the world this week and say all the things we want people to know. Let’s share our love and light in our own unique and beautiful ways. Tell the people you love all the things you love about them. Tell the people you don’t like all the things you have learned from them and why you are grateful to have them in your life. And most importantly, don’t forget yourself...tell yourself (in writing on paper) all the things you love about the wonderful and amazing being that you are! So where will you begin? Please share below and tag those you love and want to remind to use their magnificent voices. Looking forward to your responses... With love & light, Keli |
