How to Get Ready for 2014

As we find ourselves in the last days of 2013, it's a perfect time to take a look back over the year. I like to start by looking at what my greatest challenges have been. Make a list of all the things that have been the most difficult, and don't leave anything out!

Once the list is complete, go back over each entry, and look for the lesson or gift in each one. What did you learn? How did they make you stronger, wiser, or more grateful? If you can't see the gift, put a star* next to it and we'll come back to it later.

Next we will make a list of all the things we are grateful for this year. It's time to count your blessings, so make sure you write them all down...every last joy filled moment!

The next step is my favorite...it's time to come up with your vision for the year ahead. Don't forget to include having any star*s from your earlier list peacefully & lovingly resolved! Get crystal clear about what it is that fills your heart with peace, joy, love and enlightenment...your heart's desire. Then write it down in detail, describing how it looks, sounds, feels, tastes and smells. Bring your vision fully present!

If you'd like to take it a step further, which I suggest you do, find images that represent your vision (I use google images), then create a collage. You can do it the old fashioned way by cutting and pasting from magazines onto a poster board, or you can use Picasa to create a collage you can print, use as wallpaper or even your screensaver. Have fun, express yourself, and let your creativity flow!

I'd be honored if you would share some of your goals dreams, and vision boards below. And if you found this content valuable, please like, share, +1, tweet & pin! Thanks so much.

With love & light,

Holiday Hangover? I Can Help...

It's that time of year when holiday parties are practically a nightly occurrence, which means lots of drinks, sweets, and late hours. I'm not suggesting that you don't have fun and enjoy the treats of the holidays, but I am suggesting that you take a few simple steps to prevent your system from becoming overwhelmed. After all...no one wants to end the year being sick or 10 pounds heavier!

Three Tips to Help You Through the Holidays:
1. Get In the Good Stuff:
Make sure you are taking your supplements daily (I suggest Super Trio or Super Supplemental)

2. Get Out the Bad Stuff:
A weekly Ionic Foot Detox Bath will support the body in releasing toxins

3. Keep the Body in Healing Mode:
Make sure you get plenty of rest, fruits and veggies, and meditation/yoga

This week I am offering Foot Detox Baths for only $20 to support you in staying healthy throughout the holiday season! Schedule now and mention this ad in the appointment notes and you will save $10.

And if you would like to join us for yoga, this week on Tuesday or Thursday at 5:30pm EST, you can do so via livestream! Sign up now and I will send you the link to join us!

With love & light,
Keli Ackroyd

3 Minute Neck Pain Relief

12/10/2013

Comments

This short video will take you through a simple process that will open up your neck and bring you relief from pain and stiffness.

The technique I use marries two of my favorite healing modalities: massage and yoga. The two are actually quite similar. Massage brings relief to the body from the outside in, and yoga brings relief to the body from the inside out. When you add BOTH to your healthcare regimen, you will be amazed at how quickly the body will heal itself.

Physically the neck includes the cervical vertebrae, muscles, ligaments, and tendons which can play a part in neck pain. But did you know that emotionally it can represent a fear of communicating your truth? The throat chakra represents how balanced we are in giving our love to others (right side) and receiving love from others (left side). It can also be where we hold judgments of the past against ourselves and others (back of neck).

The mantra that will support you in healing this area is:
"I express my love & joy freely and authentically."

If you find this information to be helpful, please like, share and pin it! Thanks so much.

Could You Use a Little Holiday Stress Relief?

"It's that time of year when the world falls in love", at least that's what Frank Sinatra would've had us believe in one of my favorite holiday songs...his famous "Christmas Waltz".

Sure that song was written in a simpler time. A time when people couldn't imagine leaving their homes and loved ones on Thanksgiving to go shopping. A time when "a woman's place was in the home" so she had plenty of time for decorating, baking, wrapping gifts and getting it all done with a smile, high heels, and a skirt. I happen to know this is true as I have seen numerous reruns starring Donna Reed to prove it! :-)

Flash forward 60 years to the present: Women work, take care of their family, decorate, and bake (or know of a great bakery). Women have to shop online, in stores, at midnight sales, or any time it can be fit in...and by the time it's all said and done no one is smiling, the shoes have been kicked off, and "dressed up" looks like wearing the pair of yoga pants that don't have a stain!

Overworked? You betcha!
Necessary? Not so much...
You see it's all a balancing act. The problem is most people are so off balanced in their "regular life" that when the holidays come around and add one more thing to their list, they easily become overwhelmed. But it doesn't have to be that way.

On Saturday, December 7th I am offering a 2 hour class called "Stress FREE Holidays!" in which you can master some gems and rituals that will promise this years holidays will be the best (and most peaceful) ever.

I invite you to reserve your seat now. And if you prefer to attend via online streaming, that option is also available.
